odd·i·ty [ óddtee ] (plural odd·i·ties)
noun
somebody or something different: somebody or something unique,
unusual, or unconventional
One of my
all-time favorite roadside attractions as a kid was Gatorland
in Orlando. It's still there inviting guests from around the world
to walk through the giant open gator mouth and into the world
of man-eating reptiles. One of my most memorable photos is me
poised atop a giant gator tooth smiling happily.
So what's
your all-time favorite attraction, oddity or sign? Is it Pedro
standing guard at South of the Boarder on I-95? Is it the burial
ground of car carcasses at Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, TX? Let
us know. We want you to participate in this page. Send your original
photos of your favorite roadside oddity, attraction or whacky
signage. Tell us where your discovery is located and we'll feature
it on the site (and give you the byline).
Just complete
the form below and we'll post your info.
