This privacy statement outlines the information practices we use, including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how this information is used and with whom any information is shared. A. Information Collected:

1. In general, you can visit the Information Roadtrip website without telling us who you are and without revealing any personal information about yourself.

2. We collect anonymous information from your visits to Information Roadtrip by using the IP addresses from the Log files. We keep track of domain names but not the email address, of anyone who visits our website. We also collect data on some of the pages that you may visit and the information that you may submit when you use the iRoadtrip e-zine newsletter opt-in form and the Roadside Oddities form. We may also collect data about what you pages you looked at and/or access and how long you spent on the Information Roadtrip website.

3. We may collect demographic information from the answers that you post on the registration form for the periodic Information Roadtrip e-zine. In particular, we are interested how you heard about the Information Roadtrip website. We also solicit ideas for trip destinations or places you would like to visit along with Information Roadtrip. Information Roadtrip is not responsible for the privacy policies or the content of these linked websites.

2. We use email links within the Information Roadtrip website to allow you to contact us directly via email. We use the information provided in your email to respond to your questions and comments. We may also store your comments for future reference. Your personal information is only shared with third parties with your explicit permission.

D. On-line Advertising:

1. Information Roadtrip uses certain third party companies to deliver some banner advertisements and other on-line communication. These companies may collect and use information about the customers who clicked or viewed these banners. The information they collect is aggregated so as to protect the privacy of our readers, but Information Roadtrip does not bear any responsibility for any actions or policies of any third parties.

The editorial staff of Information Roadtrip carefully screens all third-party advertisers to ensure that their products provide both a good match for the interests of our readership and a superb level of product and service quality. In the unlikely event that you find one of our advertisers who is not abiding by the conditions of the Information Roadtrip privacy policy or fails to meet your expectations for their any of their products, please notify us. E. Security:

1. At present, Information Roadtrip does not support an internal commerce website, (for the purchase of iRoadtrip products through the use of credit cards or electronic cash). All such purchases are conducted through third parties, and SSL encryption is used when you are prompted to enter sensitive information, (such as credit card number and/or social security number).

2. While secure encryption technology is used to protect sensitive information online, we also protect all user information that is stored offline. Only one person, the website administrator, has access to the distribution list and database that we use to send the iRoadtrip e-zine, and this person also has direct responsibility for the operation of the online forums described in paragraph C.2.

F. Choice/Opt-out:

1. If you have registered to receive email communications from us and later change your mind, you may contact us to have your name and email address removed from the distribution lists. Should you wish to remove your name and email, please send an email requesting removal of this information to webmaster@information.com and include "Remove" in the subject line of the email message.

2. We also give you the option to remove your name and email address upon receipt of every e-zine that we send to you.

3. We will remove your contact information from our distribution lists within 72 hours of receipt of email message requesting such removal and shall send an email confirmation message that your name and email address have been removed.

G. Use of Information Roadtrip by children:

1. While this website is not directed at children, it is our intention that the content produced and published on Information Roadtrip be useful, entertaining and of reasonable acceptance for all ages of children and adults.
